Not a problem, and thanks for the message. I’m glad to be part of a growing critical response to pro-porn, pro-anything-sex-related arguments that are made by fellow feminists. We get a lot of flak for our views, even when they’re informed by very personal experiences, so I’m just as happy as many of my followers are to find out I’m not alone.

I’m really into the idea of agreeing to disagree, and not hating or disliking people just because they have different opinions (unless they’re, you know, bigoted), so you should feel free to follow me anyway. I mean, I might be confused if you’re dailybdsm, but even then it’s cool.
I’m not deleting this blog, but I don’t plan to update here anymore.

returning to this area of the internet (I dont intend to very often anymore, if at all) to reiterate:
Male violence. Don’t just call it violence. Don’t just call it a tragedy. Every time this happens, it’s a man. See it, recognize it, call it. Male violence is gendered socialization and patriarchy at work, and too many people die from this shit every year. Stop obfuscating the causes by acting like this is somehow a humans-in-general issue- it’s men who do this. There are reasons for that. Educate yourself. Gun laws are pertinent to discuss right now as well, as is our dismal mental health care, but never forget and never stop emphasizing who the people are that do these things. Until people finally face these things for what they are and get to the root of the issue, it’s going to keep happening. For as long as we’ve seen in human history, it’s always been men perpetrating the worst and largest-scales of violence. Recognize the causes and combat this at the root.
I’m hoping everyone knows what I’m talking about. If not, quit huffing furry porn for one second and actually look at the news or something.
